Macro Friendly Chicken Alfredo
Ingredients:
12 oz chicken breast (cooked + shredded/diced)
1 box Bonza protein pasta
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 c skim milk
1 c low fat cottage cheese (blended)
1/2 c shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
1/4 c grated parmesan
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt & pepper
Directions:
Boil pasta according to package and set aside with cooked chicken
Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and set to medium heat, add the butter and garlic and let simmer for a minute
Add flour and quickly stir to form a paste
Whisk in chicken broth & milk, let simmer for 6-7 minutes or until it starts to thicken
Reduce to low heat and add cottage cheese, mozzarella & parmesan cheeses, and seasonings
Once cheeses have melted together, stir in chicken & pasta
