Macro Friendly Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz chicken breast (cooked + shredded/diced)

  • 1 box Bonza protein pasta

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 c skim milk

  • 1 c low fat cottage cheese (blended)

  • 1/2 c shredded low fat mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 c grated parmesan 

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp salt & pepper


Directions:

  1. Boil pasta according to package and set aside with cooked chicken

  2. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and set to medium heat, add the butter and garlic and let simmer for a minute

  3. Add flour and quickly stir to form a paste

  4. Whisk in chicken broth & milk, let simmer for 6-7 minutes or until it starts to thicken

  5. Reduce to low heat and add cottage cheese, mozzarella & parmesan cheeses, and seasonings

  6. Once cheeses have melted together, stir in chicken & pasta
