Homemade Turkey Chili & Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

*For Chili*

  • Sautee onions in butter & set aside

  • Toast hamburger bun and spread light mayo on the bottom bun

  • Top with chicken breast, onion, 57 sauce, and cheese slice

  • Microwave for 20-40 seconds or until cheese is melted

*For Cinnamon Rolls*

  • 1 1/2 c greek yogurt

  • 1 1/4 c flour

  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 1/3 c brown sugar splenda

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

  • 2 oz light cream cheese

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar


Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350

  2. For the dough fold together greek yogurt, flour, and baking powder in bowl

  3. Flatten dough on a nonstick surface into a rectangle shape

  4. Spread melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar splenda & cinnamon and roll

  5. Cut dough log into 6 pieces and add to a greased nonstick oven safe pan

  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until edges are brown

  7. For the icing mix together the light cream cheese & powdered sugar in a small dish

  8. Once the rolls are removed from the oven, evenly spread icing on top

  9. While cinnamon rolls are baking, brown ground turkey and onion together in a large pan

  10. Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, and stewed tomatoes (with the juice)

  11. Season with chili, garlic, salt, and pepper

  12. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover & let simmer for 15 minutes
